What's wrong with eating MEAT? part 2

Read part 1 human physiological evidence explored

The first thing many people ask when they hear about the vegetarian diet is "What's wrong with eating meat?  Millions of people do it; why should I stop?"

What's wrong with eating MEAT?

This part explores the human physiological evidence that we are not designed to eat meat; from our lips to our digestive systems, humans are entirely like vegetarian animals and completely unlike meat eating animals.

Tofu parmesan - my first try at this flexible recipe

A couple days ago, I noticed a couple pictures in my brother in law's photo stream.  He took a few pictures of tofu parmesan - and my first thought was that I had most of the ingredients.

The recipe that they used was from "ifoundhappy" at blogspot.  It can be found here.

(eating) Meat sucks! (the life out of the planet)

Meat sucks!  So, I headed over to YouTube to see a couple videos that are in the vein (pun intended) of meat eaters being the worst thing hurting the environment.

Go Vegetarian! Meat is not green !

This girl goes on for a while and calls out Al Gore for not being a vegetarian - she asks how he can claim to be an environmentalist if he continues to love eating meat.  I agree 100%!

Reasons to be Vegetarian

Meat's Not Green

“[The meat industry is] one of the top two or three most significant contributors to the most serious environmental problems, at every scale from local to global.” - The United Nations

Vegetarian food is my passion

Vegetarian food is my passion. I have been a vegetarian for over 17 years now and I haven't hardly put on any weight. I am a male - just under 40 years old, and I weigh 160lbs. When I graduated college, I was 165lbs+ but I was lifting weights and riding the bike a lot more. I've since lost a little bit of that old muscle, but I never added any fat.

Vegetarian Promise Pledge

Vegetarian Promise Pledge

I pledge to have a diet that is vegan, vegetarian, or mostly vegetarian as a way to reduce my environmental impact.

As an added part of this pledge, I promise to help debunk the myths about nutrition regarding vegetarian diets as well as try to reach out to those who may not know how being a vegetarian or vegan makes a tremendous way to lower their impact.
