A must watch for ALL.

I watched this for the first time about a year ago, and sat in amazement. Everything said is right on. The perfect eye opener for the 'global warming haters' and others that question why we care so much about our environment. For the young & the old~ please take the 20 minutes to watch.

Enjoy.

Q. Paper or Plastic? A. neither!

Remember when you were asked every time you purchased your groceries the simple question, "Paper or Plastic?" A simple question but no so simple decision. Once the environmental issues of plastic became more known, many answered proudly~ "Paper!" As if that clearly was the better choice. It has to be, right, I mean it is afterall paper. Nice, easily recyclable paper. Plastic bags clutter landfills, flap from the tree tops in the breeze, line garbage cans, destroy our aquatic life, and are so much more work to recycle than lovely, paper.

Native American way of life - in harmony with Nature

This video must have caused an emotional response in me when I was younger because I will never be able to forget it. The video shows how sad this Native American is upon viewing the land - with garbage all over the place. This really speaks to the underlying promise that "white man" made especially when seizing land from Chief Seattle's people -- that they would must take care of the land.

rainforest, educated tribes and drug companies??

ok, i've never blogged before, but i am doing this because this is for my best friend who helped create a site we all need! i always cared about mother earth and think that raising your child to be aware of the impact of the size that his or her carbon footprint is leaving on the earth. we don't have alot of money but we bought energy efficient appliances and though solar panels would be great, we have not the money to spend on them and have opted to put a roof on our house that is made to last our lifetime and our son's.
