landfill

Q. Paper or Plastic? A. neither!

Remember when you were asked every time you purchased your groceries the simple question, "Paper or Plastic?" A simple question but no so simple decision. Once the environmental issues of plastic became more known, many answered proudly~ "Paper!" As if that clearly was the better choice. It has to be, right, I mean it is afterall paper. Nice, easily recyclable paper. Plastic bags clutter landfills, flap from the tree tops in the breeze, line garbage cans, destroy our aquatic life, and are so much more work to recycle than lovely, paper.

what about pre-cycling?

We all do our best at recycling, bit what about pre-cycling?

rainforest, educated tribes and drug companies??

ok, i've never blogged before, but i am doing this because this is for my best friend who helped create a site we all need! i always cared about mother earth and think that raising your child to be aware of the impact of the size that his or her carbon footprint is leaving on the earth. we don't have alot of money but we bought energy efficient appliances and though solar panels would be great, we have not the money to spend on them and have opted to put a roof on our house that is made to last our lifetime and our son's.
